BR Sorb506 High Temperature Chloride Adsorbent

BR Sorb506 chloride adsorbent is suitable for the fine dechlorination of raw materials with high chlorine content, such as hydrogen and nitrogen gases, synthesis gases, and naphtha. It has a high weight chlorine capacity and purification efficiency, capable of reducing the chlorine content from 1000–2000 ppm to less than 0.1 ppm.

If the chlorine in the raw gas is in the form of organic chlorine, it should first be converted to HCl using Co-Mo or Ni-Mo hydrogenation catalysts before being removed by BR Sorb506 chloride adsorbent. Additionally, this chloride adsorbent possesses sufficient mechanical strength, good stability, and selectivity, making it suitable for long-term operation.

Industrial Application and Prospects:

BR Sorb506 chloride adsorbent has been successfully applied in various refineries, including Qilu Petrochemical Refinery, Shanghai Petrochemical Company, Maoming Petrochemical Refinery, Jinzhou Refinery, Jiujiang Petrochemical Refinery, Fujian Refinery, Shijiazhuang Refinery, and Jilin Chemical Company Refinery.

Packaging and Storage:

BR Sorb506 chloride adsorbent is packaged in iron drums (lined with plastic bags) or ton bags. It must be kept dry and protected from contact with acidic substances. During transportation and handling, it should be protected from dropping and collision. The product can be stored in a sealed condition for three years without affecting its use.
