Technical Features:
- Low system resistance (≤0.6 MPa), high methanol purity (with operation at 5.0 MPa pressure, single tower methanol purity reaches 6–7%; at 8.0 MPa pressure, single tower methanol purity reaches 9–12%);
- Simple operation, easy control of bed temperature; the water-cooled reactor achieves natural circulation of boiler water without the need for a circulation pump, resulting in economic operation and a large amount of by-product steam (1.1–1.3 tons of steam per ton of methanol);
- High catalyst loading coefficient in the water-cooled reactor (70–75%), resulting in relatively lower investment costs;
- High production capacity per tower, with a maximum output of up to 900,000 tons of methanol per year.
